APB: All Points Bulletin
APB: All Points Bulletin is a free to play, third-person MMO shooter that was originally released on 6th June 2010 by Realtime Worlds. Beginning as a pay to play title, APB failed to attract the attention it needed to stay afloat and as such Realtime Worlds went into administration shortly after launch. APB: All Points Bulletin was then buried for several months with little hopes of a relaunch until it was picked up by GamersFirst. It has since been inundated with new fixes, content updates and community events that have helped make it one of the best free MMOTPS games available online.
APB: All Points Bulletin Review
One of the best features of APB: All Points Bulletin is thrown at you as soon as you start the client, the character creation. It is easily the most advanced character creation systems ever seen in an online game, and arguably, any game in history. Players can edit practically every minor aspect of their would-be Criminal or Enforcer, from the hair type to the tips of the nose. The character creation system at the beginning of the game doesn’t even demonstrate the full list of features as players are able to purchase and customize new clothes as they progress. This allows you to create your own logos and designs, or even mimic those of ones available in real life. There’s some great videos showing the Ghostbusters and The A-Team running around.
Each player must choose which side they wish to represent in the constant PvP struggle, Enforcers or Criminals. Each faction has access to different weaponry, vehicles, quests, NPCS and activities. Criminals are able to ram shop windows and steal goods, mug civilians and other illegal activities. While the Enforcers aim to clean up the town with their vigilante approach to crime fighting.
APB: All Points Bulletin features a fully persistent game world and players can be placed on intense PvP missions at any time. This means that every battlefield is unique, every car chase starts somewhere fresh. This adds a massive variety to the PvP, providing players with new challenges at every bend.
