Bad: The biggest drawback with Battle Dawn is without a doubt the graphics. The game boasts so many interesting features and ideas, but when compared to the current MMORTS market, the graphics feel dated and lackluster.

Battle Dawn is a turn based strategy game that requires a great deal of logical thinking to be able to build the most effective colony. Unlike many other turn based games, you can continue to use your units and work on your structures at any time; however for the game to progress and your units to move on towards the end of the game, you must wait an hour per turn in real time. Once you have placed your initial fortress, you can begin building outposts. These are required for upgrading and transporting. You can also use the outposts to build silos and radar towers. The individual structures all have their own bonus properties. Once you begin progressing onwards you will be able to capture the relics. The first person to acquire 10 relics will be declared the victor.
It is almost essential for you to gain allies during a game. This will enhance your chances of winning considerably. It also means that you can team up with your friends too! You will also need to ensure you have enough resources, which can be extracted from the area surrounding your colony.
