Bigpoint Announce Exclusive Game Of Thrones Seven Kingdoms Video To Debut At Comic-Con
Bigpoint, publishers of hugely popular browser-based MMO games such as The Mummy and Pirate Storm, have just announced the full title for their upcoming game based on the bestselling fantasy book series A Song of Ice and Fire, Game Of Thrones Seven Kingdoms. A Song of Ice and Fire has already spawned several books and a critically acclaimed TV series, and Game Of Thrones Seven Kingdoms is the latest addition to the successful IP. Set in the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, Game Of Thrones Seven Kingdoms will offer players the unique opportunity to explore the fantasy world and experience iconic moments from the TV series and books. Bigpoint will be releasing an exclusive new trailer at the upcoming Comic-Con event, running from July 12th to July 15th.

Bigpoint have been collaborating with Artplant, the Norwegian development studio that partnered with Bigpoint to publish the popular Battlestar Galactica Online MMO, to offer players an MMO adaption of Westeros. They were able to draw in over 10 million players to Battlestar Galactica, which for all intents and purpose is an age-old franchise, so we’re confident a modern one could see even higher figures released.
