Capcom Confirm Release Of 12 New Street Fighter X Tekken Characters On PS3 And Xbox 360
Capcom have just announced upcoming DLC content for their hugely popular beat ‘em up title, Street Fighter X Tekken. Originally meant to be released after the release of the PS Vita version, Capcom have moved the DLC ahead and will release a roster of 12 new characters on July 31st. The DLC will cost $19.99 and will be available for 1600 Microsoft Points, a fair price for such a huge amount of characters.
The 12 new additions to the Street Fighter X Tekken roster will bring the line-up to a staggering 50 playable characters, plenty of choice for both Street Fighter and Tekken fans. The new characters available for the Street Fighter team are Blanka, Cody, Dudley, Elena, Guy and Sakura. While the Tekken side can look forward to strong additions from Alisa Bosconovitch, Bryan Fury, Christie Monteiro, Jack-X, Lars Alexandersson, and Lei Wulong.
They’ve also announced a nice incentive for those that purchase the title for the upcoming PS Vita release. The first load of retail copies of Street Fighter X Tekken on the Vita will include two download codes that will allow owners of the PS3 to transfer their DLC content to the Vita. One code will unlock the 12 additional characters and the second will provide Vita players with alternate costumes for the current 38 characters on the roster. Additionally, pre-ordering the PS Vita version at certain retailers will also include a bonus of alternate costumes for the 12 new all-stars. All sets of DLC can be switched between both the PS3 and PS Vita versions.
