Christmas Comes Early for CrossFire & Project Blackout Players
SG Interactive and G4BOX Inc have just announced their partnership to introduce the Countdown to Christmas FPS Challenge for two of their most popular MMOFPS games. Running from December 7th through to December 26th, both CrossFire and Project Blackout players will get the opportunity to vote on their most favorite map which will then be granted double experience points and in-game currency for the duration of the event. Holiday-theme challenged and in-game weapons will also be available during the holiday period.
“The holidays are always a great time of year for our audience and like a Christmas list to Santa Claus, we want to give them a voice in what they get this year,” said Jungsoo Lee, vice president of live development for SG Interactive. “By voting for their favorite map, our gaming community is directly affecting both their holiday gameplay and the development of future landscapes of both games.”
Additionally players will be able to get another map to offer the same bonuses by using the recruit a friends program and to get them to “Like” the Facebook page of either game. If either page gets 3,000 news “Likes”, a second map will be introduced with both the in-game currency and experience point bonuses.
