In typical MMORPG fashion Cyber Monster gives players the opportunity of selecting from 4 unique classes, Warrior, Mage, Priest and Ranger. As with the majority of MMORPG games classes earn extra skills and abilities as they increase in level which is done by earning experience points through questing and defeating enemy monsters.

One of the most innovative features in Cyber Monster is the unique position system. Players are able to join player created guilds that actually offer incentive for playing. Each guild has a promotion system that gives players the opportunity to earn rewards and prestigious titles through guild activities. There are 6 ranks in total with each having different requirements in order to get promoted. Once players are promoted they’re given rare items as a reward and also a weekly allocation of gold. Players that achieve higher promotions also get a boost to their individual fame as the announcement is spread across the entire server.

Another area that Cyber Monster excels in is the pet system. It’s not uncommon for a MMORPG game to feature a pet system but Cyber Monster features a highly in-depth pet system with a variety of character statistics. Each pet can also have different power levels, in a very similar way to that of the natures seen in this generation of Pokemon games. This gives players added incentive to explore and keep attempting to capture the same type of monster, with the hopes of getting the most powerful version.
