DC Universe Online
Good: The best thing about DC Universe Online? It's DC. Some of the characters in DC have had decades to grow and there's dozen of iconic characters that fill the ranks. Players can expect to find Batman, Superman and more.
Bad: Having recently changed to a free to play model DC Universe Online now uses a tiered subscriber system. Although not totally unbalanced it does provide players with a number of progression advantages.
DC Universe Online is the latest to join the growing list of super hero MMO games. Set in the iconic universe of the DC comics, DC Universe Online provides players with an authentic DC experience while offering an exciting range of MMORPG features and mechanics, all the while delivering thrilling combat and an engrossing story.

Fans will know that the world of DC isn’t loved by thousands purely because of the iconic super heroes, there’s also a huge variety of infamous villains. Players can take on the role of either side, choosing to fight for truth and justice on the side of the heroes, or corruption and greed on the side of the villains. This offers a plentiful experience as users can enjoy branching story lines from both sides, as well as more immersive PvP and villain VS. hero combat.
As well as creating your own super hero from a massive selection of customization options, players can also expect to fight alongside or against a number of iconic characters from DC. Aid Batman in his never ending struggle against the dastardly Batman, or side with Lex Luthor as he tries to end the life of Superman to achieve his dream of global domination. It’s all there and players can experience it right from the start. DC Universe has also been praised for its action-packed opening cinematic, an unmissable video featuring some of the best characters from the game.
Another unique aspect to DC Universe Online is that it’s available on both the PC and PS3 platforms. Players from different platforms aren’t able to play together but it still offers a massive free to play world for both PC and console players.
A world filled with iconic characters wouldn’t be complete without an iconic setting. Brave the darkened streets of Gotham, explore futuristic cityscape’s in a huge metropolis and travel to famous locations such as the Justice League of America Watchtower.
