Diablo 3 Continues To Experience Launch Problems
Blizzard have been inundated with forum posts and emails from upset gamers that are still having issues connecting, and staying connected, to the highly anticipated Diablo 3. That’s a serious problem within itself, however a new issue has arisen, which some are saying will cause far more damage to Blizzard than a few server connection issues.
Hundreds of players have reported losing access to their accounts after a recent hacking spree claimed the accounts of innocent gamers everywhere. The majority of sensible MMO gamers have a complicated and thorough password, and usually assume this is enough to protect their account, even from friends. But as this recent Diablo 3 hack has shown, even a complicated authenticator process is not protecting people from losing their hard earned levels and accounts.
A large number of people are blaming the real-cash auction house service that will be available in the game shortly, offering a hackers a massive potential of almost unlimited income. Personally, my account has not been breached but I’m a relatively low level, however several of my higher level friends have experienced the issue, with some of them having a WoW account of 10 years without any issues.
Do you have a Diablo 3 account? Is it secured or are you worried you’ve become a victim of these horrific Diablo 3 hacks? Leave a comment and let us know.
