“The Legend of Dratini” is a Pokemon episode that considered ‘forbidden’ as it’s chock full of guns. Guns being pointed and fired at children, that is. This is probaly why its never been dubbed in English (Engwrish). The original title was “The Legend of Miniryu.”

I know what you’re thinking: “Did he fire six shots, or only five?” Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, I’ve kinda lost track myself. But being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you’ve got to ask yourself one question: “Do I feel lucky?” Well do ya, punk?” SFPD Inspector Harry Callahan (Clint Eastwood).
American Episode 32 (original Episode 35) with Ash and the crew singing in true Glee as they take a gentle stroll through the nature reserve for rare Pokemon, Safari Zone. An old Clint Eastwood looking dude jumps out of a house and tells them to shut the F up. It’s Kaiser the grounds caretaker (…some call it a Kaiser blade)! Ash asks the man why his panties are in a wad, and the man demonstrates exactly WHY by pulling out a six-shooter and asking if the kids “want to get shot.”
NO singing for you, Poke-files! Yeah he points his big gun in a cartoon for 10-year-olds. Later, he straight-up fires shots at other kids for standing on top of a sign – “Have you killed people? Yes, but they were all bad.” Arnold to Jamie Lee Curtis in True Lies - they turn out to be evil brats, but he doesn’t know that yet.

The power hungry guy is actually the rules keeper of the Safari Zone, which somehow makes it acceptable for him to pull guns on kids. He does it again when explaining the rules of the zone, basically threatening to murder Ash and his friends if they break any of those rules.
He is largely responsible for the banning of this episode everywhere outside of Japan for pointing a gun in Ash Ketchum‘s face. Because of this, he does not have an English name.
He appears to be a very threatening man towards everybody who enters the Safari Zone. However, this is only because he wants to protect a Dratini from poachers. Unfortunately, he was captured by Team Rocket, and using various tactics, they forced him to give away the location of the Dratini.Later on, he finds his Dratini friend and sees that it had evolved into Dragonair and had a child of its own.

Team Rocket then captures the old man to find out where he’s hiding the fabled Dratini Pokemon in his unnatural love nest, and for some reason they also have guns, and point them directly at his face. Dished it out, so eating a little crow?

Since magical biological weapons exist- why have modern guns in the Pokemon universe? Cracked.com asked today. Suddenly it’s like everyone has them, as if the writers were setting things up to make some point about guns and violence, its a moot point when the cute animals electrify, scorch, and attack on command.
PERV ALERT: In a weird turn of events James and Meowth from Team Rocket interrogate the old man. He refuses to tell them where to find the missing Pokemon. Then Jessie, a teenage girl, according to the show, offers herself to help bribe him, and he seems intrigued by the idea. Wondering if a purple pill will help his pocket monster?

However, the warden ultimately turns down her kind offer which seemed straight from an HBO series. If only James had kept those oversized boobs from “Holiday at Acopulco” (also banned as to major Tranny type boobage- named ”Beach Beauty and Pokemon Costume Contest” in American) they might have had more persuasion!
With Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2 due out in a short few months – see our story here: Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2 will hit USA in OCTOBER! the net is seeing a resurgence of some negative connotations with video games and guns after the Aurora, Co incident in articles like The Aurora, CO Massacre–What Role Did Video Games Play? Personally, I do not think theres a link, but it is rather unsettling to see cartoons aimed at young kids displaying guns owned by hotheaded reactionists like this Kaiser ( it is offensive to gun owners if anything). But then again, its a story about enslaving collecting/capturing “magical biological weaponized” creatures to battle with, by exploiting their mutations to serve your own purposes.
