Dragons of Atlantis

Dragons of Atlantis is a 2D fantasy themed empire building game by Wonder Hill. Players can pledge their allegiance to any one of the four ancient tribes determined to salvage their troubled civilization in the mystical world of Atlantis.

You can construct a powerful city and recruit a vast army to help you in your conquest. You also get to raise a dragon and take over other players cities. Players can form alliances to increase their reputation, aiding them with taking control by using either diplomacy, or military might.

Dragons of Atlantis Overview

Dragons of Atlantis is a MMORTS where players are chosen to save the civilization of Atlantis. There are four original tribes known as the Solerians, Amazons, native Zolmecs, and the Primus. Players must pledge allegiance to one of the tribes and aid them in their journey to becoming the most dominant tribe in Atlantic. Dragons of Atlantis features similar mechanics to other strategy building games like Kingdoms of Camelot or Evony. Users build and control their own city, constructing homes, Science Centers, Theaters, and Officers’ Quarters. The player’s Build farms and mines to collect resources to keep their kingdom prospering.

Players have to create their own powerful army as well as raise and train a Dragon to destroy enemies during war. Players must conquer other cities and join forces in alliances. They should chat with friends and trade in valuable resources like ore for gold or shop for special acceleration items. It is up to you to become a hero and prove to the Gods that your tribe is truly worthy in Dragons of Atlantis.

Resources consist of Food, Stone, Wood, and Ore.

Buildings consist of Factories, Metal smith, Muster Point, Officers’ Quarters, Rookery, Science Center, Garrison, Sentinel, Theater, Storage Vault, and Homes.

Military Units consist of the Porter, Conscript, Spy, Halberds man, Minotaur, Long bow man, Swift Strike Dragon, Battle Dragon, Armored Transport, and Fire Mirror

In Dragons of Atlantis most of the gameplay revolves around the construction of a kingdom, completing quests, and attacking other territories. Players begin with a fortress and Dragon’s Keep. They should build various structures in empty lots located in the city or field areas. Every building has a different function that will contribute to the overall growth of your empire. Homes increase population, Theaters entertain the citizens, while armor and weapons can be made to improve your military power.

Players must establish a Sentinel, Muster Point, Officers’ Quarters, Rookery, Storage Vault, Factory, and Science Center. There are no specialty items that allow more than one structure to be built at a time. This makes the construction phase seem very slow. Resources gathered from farms, lumber mills, mines, and quarries are used as supplies. Tasks usually involve building, researching, or militia training.
