There’s literally hundreds of different cards, all separated by type, role, health and damage.
Eredan Review
Eredan’s main appeal is the collecting and use of the cards. Players play TCG games for the collection factor as much as they do the battling and other features. Eredan allows you to collect cards in various ways, you can purchase them from the in-game store, earn them as a reward for completing quests or pick them up off defeated monsters. The Adventure Mode is the main source of PvE, you are sent to explore the mystical world of Guem in search of great treasures and rewards. The Adventure Mode features story like progression where you have to complete various chapters, in order to access the next chapter you must first meet a number of requirements such as your character level. As you progress through Adventure Mode the opponents get more challenging and the rewards are increased.
The other main mode of Eredan is PvP which can be played in two different ways, basic PvP and Tournament Mode. Normal PvP is a simple 1v1 duel where both players aim to reduce the health of their opponents cards to 0, thus winning the match. The game uses a familiar ELO system so that you can easily check how skilled a player is compared to your current Elo, creating even matches with both players standing a chance at emerging victorious. The Tournament works in a similar fashion but uses a 16-man knockout template that rewards the victor with a number of rare cards and some in-game currency.
As with all TCG MMORPG games, the combat in Eredan is one of it’s defining features. There are a number of card types available separated into Character and Action cards. Each player can take three cards into a battle, using a mixture of both. The Character cards are the most powerful and difficult to obtain, but if you’re able to collect a large amount, it really helps improve the power of your deck. Eredan includes a variety of complex mechanics in the combat system such as combo cards, which reward your cards with extra stats if you’re able to link them together, making it one of the most advanced TCG games on the internet.
