Gardens Of Time
Joining the hugely popular Hidden Object Game (HOG) genre, Gardens of Time is an innovative browser title that allows players to connect and play through the popular social platform, Facebook. For those not familiar with the HOG genre, a variety of images are displayed on the screen and the player must use their detective skills to locate various items, these can be items out of place or in the wrong time period, or just items written on a list. HOG games have been around for decades with titles appearing as early as the original Playstation so it’s no surprise that they’re finally bringing it to the online world.
Gardens of Time Review
Gardens of Time is based on historic events and locations over the past thousand years. Players can expect to explore famous locations such as the sturdy Walls of Troy, the magnificent Egyptian Pyramids and the world famous, London Clock Tower. While exploring each location, players will be tasked with locating a variety of objects, each of which is out of place for that location or period in time. In total, there are over 40 different maps to explore, each containing dozens of misplaced objects. Although the locations remain the same, the objects themselves are dynamic, meaning players can explore the same location a number of times, but the objects will vary and be in different locations.
There are a number of different modes to play such as Challenge and Time Attack, each providing players with challenging objectives and puzzles. As the game supports Facebook integration, you can challenge your friends to high-score battles, and even send them gifts and hints if they get stuck.
Being a browser-based MMO title, Gardens of Time uses the popular Flash plugin to deliver a thrilling HOG experience to players, no download and no subscription fees, the game is 100% free to play. Travel in time exploring dozens of interesting places throughout history and test your keen eye in the search for hundreds of hidden objects.
