Ghost Recon Online
Good: Easily the best aspect of Ghost Recon Online is the tactical game play. Unlike Call of Duty and other fast-paced shooting titles, Ghost Recon Online uses a cover system and various other features to offer players an enjoyable online experience fused with tactics and high-quality game play.
Bad: If you're a fan of typical shooting games you may find Ghost Recon Online to be a little slow. Although not exactly a negative point as the game is not attempting to emulate a MMOFPS, it can still be a downside for those looking for an alternate to War Rock and other popular MMOFPS games.
Following one of the most successful shooter franchises in gaming history, Ghost Recon Online is the first MMO installment of the hugely popular games backed by Tom Clancy. Ghost Recon Online is a tactical MMOTPS (third-person shooter) that pits players up against each other in 16 player battles to the death.

Step away from the typical approach to MMO shooters as players engage in tactical driven third-person combat, where skill and tactical thinking can often be enough to outdo even the fastest trigger fingers. To compliment the tactical approach to the MMO shooter genre Ghost Recon Online includes a fully supported cover system similar to that of the ones seen in popular console titles such as Perfect Dark and Gears of War. This is a unique feature among MMO games as the majority take the typical run-and-gun approach, over that of a more tactical experience.
As with most of today’s modern shooting games Ghost Recon Online supports a class-based character selection system. There are 3 classes available in the game, each of which specialize in the use of specific weaponry and devices. Ghost Recon Online features authentic contemporary and advanced technology, offering players a plethora of devastating weapons and items to take into battle. Each of the weapons can also be upgraded using a familiar attachments system, giving players the opportunity to customize their weapons by adding laser sights, silencers and a variety of scopes.
Players can unlock new items and equipment via the store, after earning currency and points during their game play. However, the game also features a highly unique looting system where players are rewarded various items and pieces of equipment after killing enemies in combat.
Best of all, Ghost Recon Online is completely free to play. If you’re looking for a new MMO shooter experience or you’re a fan of other Tom Clancy games, this is a must-play title.
