Heroes in the Sky Review
Heroes in the Sky features a large assortment of historical aircraft, each of which are separated into certain categories, such as Gunners, Fighters and Bombers. Each aircraft type has a different set of skills and abilities and is expected to fulfill certain roles on the battlefield. Fighters are the core of the air-force in Heroes in the Sky, the regular planes that can perform well against all types of other planes. The Gunners are the support planes of the game, offering various skills to aid their team in battle such as healing or resurrection abilities. The final plane type, the Bomber, is the more unique of all the planes as it is the only one that has the ability to unload bombs. Whether you’re targeting an enemies base or their ground support vehicles, Bombers are the best way to dispose of anything not flying in the sky.
As well as boasting a large selection of planes, Heroes in the Sky is also home to a variety of exciting game modes. Heroes in the Sky features 4 distinct PvP modes, each offering different challenges in objective based player vs. player action. Players can participate in aerial dogfights via Skirmish mode, a mode that allows up to 16 players to fight to the death, or they can enter more squad based PvP in Skirmish mode. The more exciting PvP modes come in the form of Attack and Defend or Occupational War. Occupational War is the most common PvP mode played as it features an evolving fantasy recreation of WWII, offering players the unique opportunity to rewrite history
