Following the footsteps of popular superhero themed MMORPG titles such as Marvel Heroes and Champions Online, Legacy of Heroes provides players with a unique take on the superhero MMO world with a blend of MMORPG and MMOTCG (Tactical Card Game) features.

Legacy Of Heroes Review

Players take on the role of their own customized superhero. During character creation players can choose the gender of their hero, as well as changing various aspects of their appearance such as hair, hair color and skin color. There’s not a huge amount of customization available but the character features more as an avatar than an actual moveable character.

The most appealing aspect to Legacy Of Heroes is the innovative approach to TCG combat. Players begin their heroic journey with a small deck containing a variety of interesting cards. There are multiple types of cards, some improving strength while others increase defense. There are also further card options available in the form of attack and ally cards. Attack cards are used to damage your enemy directly, while ally cards come with a variety of unique benefits such as allowing a deck shuffle mid-turn, or bringing a card back after it has already been used. Every card is accompanied by a high quality image and small description providing information on the cards background and usage.

The questing system in Legacy Of Heroes allows players to progress through the game at their own pace, defeating other students and enemies in tactical card duels. There are literally hundreds of opponents available to fight against as the game used a familiar comic-type setup, presenting the quests over a large selection of different chapters.
