Level with me, Dyann! Podcasts, Video Vixen A, and Microsoft agrees they copied Xbox who copied Gamecube?
Well, its been a hot week here and to break the tension of 105+ temperatures plus humidity. A good laugh always helps!
I listened the funniest gamer podcasts over at Gamer’s Heroes last night and if you like MMO games, they really are fun to listen too. Johnny Hurricane, Ryan McBride, and Blaine “Smith”…dual agent- writes for us too! It was a riot to listen too and looking forward to their next podcast due out any day now
We have a new Video vixen- Adrienne Nixon- who will be the host of “Player’s Corner” our bi-weekly gaming news web series and what a great addition to our site! I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Nixon when she was modeling and look for our introduction of her!
She’s really an amazing lady! Here are a few tidbits- be sure to check back later today for her hosting MMO Game Central’s “Player’s Corner”:
“Smith” has me wanting some Gamer Grub- have to get some!
Hmmm lets see, what else? Oh, I had a previous story on the Wii U Controller Deja’ SUE ~ Wii’s Doppelganger U Pro controller is a lawsuit waiting to happen!, and seems as if Microsoft has responded this week by in a surpize turn, by giving a nod to utilizting the Xbox designby Microsoft Game Studio VP, Phil Spencer, pointing out that the Wii U is “effectively a 360″ during an interview with Games Industry International. When questioned if SmartGlass is a reaction to the Wii U tablet, Spencer denied the reference but continued on with what he did see from Nintendo at E3.:
“I think their Pro Controller makes a lot of sense with the platform they’ve built. They are building a platform that is effectively a 360 when you think of graphical capability. Now they are really making an on-ramp for the back catalog of games that are on 360. It is easy for those games to move over the Wii U. They’ve moved the buttons around, and they’ve made a controller that feels familiar for 360 gamers, so I get why they are putting those pieces together.”
Xbox doesnt own the copyright to the classic boomerang design, but they are most known for it. I think GameCube had purple ones if I remember?
