Published by the popular free to play developers, Warp Portal, Maestia is a fantasy based, free to play MMORPG game that offers players a unique, story driven experience in a fantastical MMO setting. Maestia has captured the hearts of thousands of players as it offers one of the most interesting background stories to ever grace the MMO genre, providing players with background information on practically every aspect of the game.
Many fantasy MMORPG games today step away from in-depth character customization, instead focusing on the progression, but not Maestia. The game takes MMO character creation back to the old school, offering a huge variety of options, allowing you to create the hero you want to play. Step away from predefined characters or physical traits and customize every aspect of your hero, from your hair to your body size, there’s hundreds of potential combinations that will help make your character look unique.
Players can choose from 4 distinct classes, Ranger, Warrior, Cleric and Mage, each with their own powerful ability and skills. In typical MMORPG fashion, players unlock new skills and abilities as they progress through the game, earning experience points through defeating monsters and completing quests. Although this is nothing new to the MMO world the depth of the character progression breaks many shackles that have restrained so many games in the genre. Each class eventually gains access to over 80 unique skills, providing thousands of different ways to play each character and class.
Maestia is also home to one of the most expansive questing inventories that you’ll ever see in an online RPG world, featuring thousands of unique quests and tasks. Every quest rewards players with valuable experience points, items, equipment and more. Another feature that compliments such a large number of quests is the stat randomization on the loot, similar to Diablo II. This allows multiple players to complete the same quests, but receive totally different rewards.
