Microsoft Flight Review
Most players associate flight simulation games with attempting to take off for hours on end but Microsoft Flight takes a different approach. Veteran pilots and casual players are able to pick up the controls very quickly, having you off the ground and soaring through the skies in a matter of minutes. The optional depth of the flying system is what makes the game so approachable, offering enough mechanics for even a real-life pilots to feel challenged.
Another preconception with flight sims is the fact there’s never anything to do other than to get your plane into the air. Microsoft Flight includes some really unique features that means there’s always something for you to do. They’ve incorporated a MMORPG leveling progression mechanic that allows you to earn experience for completing a large variety of tasks, increasing your level and unlocking new features and planes. Some of the most appealing activities are the jobs, assigned, objective based missions. You’ll be given a task such as transporting cargo, or even passengers, to a certain destination, the quicker you reach your target, the more experience points you’re rewarded. Other activities include Aerocaches, hidden objects spread around the game world that reward experience points, and challenges. Challenges come in many shapes and sizes, from simple point A to point B quests, to more involved flying maneuvers such as a certain landing technique.
Microsoft Flight gives you your very own flight hangar to store your planes. There’s a huge variety of planes from historically accurate models to state of the art transport planes, they’re all included. Other available activities in your hangar include selecting a different paint scheme, refueling your plane or downloading new models as they release new planes on a regular basis.
If you’re looking for a flight simulation title, look no further than Microsoft Flight, presented in high-quality graphics and filled with activities, it’s easily one of the strongest sim games available.
