As with all free online RPG games today, Mythic Saga features an in-depth character creation process that allows you to choose your class, gender, name and faction. There are four classes available, Warrior, Assassin, Priest and Mage, each of which conform to regular MMORPG archetypes. You can also choose to align with one of two factions, your faction choice has a heavy impact on your game experience as it changes your starting city, quests and PVP team. To compliment character customization, Mythic Saga also includes a unique pet system in the form of Relics. Relics are available to all players once they’ve reached level 25 and each Relic has six different stats, allowing for a large variety of Relics, each specializing in certain aspects of combat. You can choose to get your Relic to attack enemies on sight, heal you, or take some of the damage you would usually endure.

Another unique feature in Mythic Saga, and one that is overlooked in many of today’s top MMORPG games, is the dynamic weather system. The weather flows as it would in reality, changing with the seasons and having different effects on each zone. This adds a level of immersion rarely seen in other MMO games and really makes the world feel alive.

Mythic Saga is also home to an intriguing Zodiac system. There are 12 Zodiacs in total, following the Zodiacs we’ve come to know from astrologists. Each Zodiac consists of 12 suns, and you must obtain certain items in order to gain access to each sun. As you progress through your Zodiac sign and unlock more suns, you gain extra stat enhancements and other buffs.
