Need For Speed World
Synopsis: This title in the long line of Need for Speed games is a big push for gaining the hold it once had with its title releases on the older systems like Playstation one, X-box, and others. It is a good installment to the line up with only a few flubs that hurt its replay value. If you can overlook these few things then you’re golden.
In this installment you have all the regular options you have come to love from your favorite previous Need for Sped titles. Like the ability to customize your vehicle from the ground up. With all the engine mods and body kits you can handle. Additionally you can use your cars in upgraded form when racing others online or friends. The car building system is generally the same set up that has been seen in earlier titles. You can customize everything from paint job to engine parts and upgrades.
Once you’ve made your car the way you want it with the little starting funds that you begin with, you start the game going through the cities open world. From here there is plenty to get into. You can enter into individual races depending on what type of race you are looking for. The different races are easily accessible from the map menu. You can enter into a race with just the click of a button.
While racing there are some new options that are available. You now have the option to use a new type of enhancement for your vehicle called power ups. These power ups are varied to things like magnetic camera magnets and nitro boost. The best part is that your power ups are easily accessible while driving in a menu located on the left side of the screen. Using these will help in tight situations that arise while wising through your current course.
