Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2
The latest in the Pokemon series has not only one, but two, releases for Nintendo DS. This is the first time that Pokemon game has had an overhaul in the series.
The games have a new user interface with a new screen setup and dynamics.
Now with the new setup, not only do you have a new interface, but you have plenty of options to play with. The game is more story driven and has much more to offer the player in the way of replay value.
The Pokemon have a new set of animations and movements that are much more eye catching than what was seen in previous titles.
Disappointingly, even with the new overhaul, the game graphics are built on the same as engine as older Pokemon titles. The only addition to the graphics setup is the POV of the camera moving to utilize more of the 3D aspects with each level.
Along with the new Black and White 2 titles, there are some notable additions to the story aspect.
As always, you are a young man who has no father traveling the world to “collect them all.” The twist is, the bad guys in the game have a much more prevalent role in driving the story forward.
Team Plasma, which is your enemy throughout your journey play a much more sinister role as mobile villains instead of waiting in a gym, or warehouse, in wait for you to battle them.
The game looks great with new features to check out, as well as the favorite features that everyone has come to love.
