Rakion
Good: The most entertaining aspect of Rakion is easily the combat. Stepping away from the stat-based combat systems we see in so many MMO games today, Rakion provides players with action-based combat, using a skill-based twist.
Bad: The downside to Rakion lays with the community. The forums are poorly monitored and for the most part, unused. This is definitely a negative for those that like to dive head first into the communities for the games they play.

The main appeal to Rakion is easily the combat system, and once you’ve played it you’ll know why. Many MMORPG games today boast an action orientated combat feature, but many fall short thanks to the common restraints that have plagued the MMO world for so long, but not Rakion. Enjoy intensely competitive combat as a variety of classes, using unique catch attacks and combinations to destroy your opponents. The catch attacks use familiar ‘pop-up’ techniques that launch your enemies high into the air, giving you plenty of time to land a powerful combo or use a devastating ability. Other exciting areas of the combat system include the dodging mechanic. Unlike other games where all enemy skills are locked on and guarantee hits, depending on stats, Rakion uses real-time abilities. This means that skillful players can dodge their enemies best attacks with a well timed roll or cartwheel. Providing a far more intense combat experience than you’ll find in most of today’s MMORPG games. The combat earns more credits with the variation of possible attacks including powerful abilities, and light/heavy attacks.
Another great aspect to Rakion is the real-time damage system. Every swing of your weapon or clash of swords actually damages armor and equipment in real-time. Enjoy smashing your opponents to pieces as their prize armor shatters and spreads around the nearby area. Rakion includes so much more to keep players occupied. There’s an in-depth monster summoning system, intense PvP and dozens of quests, all wrapped up in an immersive story.
