Ran Online
Good: The class system is arguably one of the games most appealing features as it offers a huge variety in terms of character build and progression. Many MMO titles boast variety but lack the content, however Ran Online does a great job of combining the pair.
Bad: The majority of players experiencing issues with Ran Online all involve some kind of technical issues or errors. A large portion of the player base are unable to play after certain patches, leaving a feeling of emptiness as the developers are slow to reply.
Ran Online is an anime inspired MMORPG game that attempts to blend the common features of the MMO genre with intense story and background information. There’s a massive variety of quests, NPC interactions and in-game lore, providing players with an immersive experience that offers storytelling that reaches new heights for the MMO world. The game was released in April of 2004 and has continued to go from strength to strength ever since, offering players a huge variety of large updates and new content.

There’s a huge selection of classes available in Ran Online, offering one of the most extensive selections available in the MMO world. Players are able to choose Brawler, Archer, Swordman, Shaman, Extreme, Scientist and Assassin. Each class has access to 20+ abilities and skills, constantly rewarding players as they progress through the game. Progression feels similar to other popular MMO games, players defeating enemies and completing quests in order to earn experience points and gold. Gold can be used to further strengthen a character by purchasing strong weapons and sturdy armor.
Ran Online uses an innovative reward system to keep players returning day after day. The developers have implemented an Attendance System that gives players the opportunity to complete attendances tasks on a daily basis. This simply involves going to a certain menu and remaining in game for a certain period of time. Each day rewards are increased and players can stack them up to 7 days in a row, resetting the Attendance number at the end of each playing week.
Ran Online boasts many more unique and innovative features, enticing players with its unique graphical setting and then keeping them hooked with daily reward programs, a massive variety of events and enough in-game content to quench the thirst of any MMO game veteran.
