Riot, You Love Your Players So! New Skins, One Spoiler! League of Legends Gets Chilly for the Incoming Summer!
Thorns, Ice, and Runes Oh My!
League of Legends, how you spoil your summoners. After a free ten win IP boost last week, certain champions are getting some new skins for us to play with. Morgana, Fallen Angel, Irelia, the Will of the Blades, and Renekton, the Butcher of the Sands have all been given a new skin. Well, two out of three have. One is just a spoiler.
Frostblade Irelia
The solo top melee assassin has been given a new look, and it’s rather chilling, to say the least. I’ve always been a fan of Irelia, she runs around with huge blades and can take a few hits for the team before ripping everyone to shreds.
My Blade is Not Only Precise, but Totally Gnarly!
This new look is rather different when compared to her traditional red and silver look. Nevertheless, she still looks good rocking out the short, blue ice hair and a Tron-like outfit. I’ve heard many of my male friends talk about her new “ass”ets .
Rune Wars Renekton
This reptilian beast has been “Slice and Dice”ing his way through Summoner’s Rift since the day he was released. A rather nasty fellow to come across in a 1v1 match up, it’s best to have your friends around.
What? Do I Have Someone in my Teeth?
Thankfully, Riot’s given him a new skin, because his other three? Eh, is all I have to say. The armor for his Rune Wars skin is sweet, and the menacing glow in his eyes just spells trouble for those who come across his path.
Blackthorn Morgana
This. Is. It! EVERY Morgana fan has wanted a new skin for her, and with the gaming Gods’ listening in, we have an amazing new skin for her. Her Blackthorn skin is the newest legendary skin, and it lives up to it’s name. When summoners play Morgana with her Blackthorn skin, they will see new attack graphics and a new death sequence when she dies.
They Will Suffer!
It’s all breathtaking, and worth the 1820 RP (that’s $20 in real world terms). The only bad thing about the skin so far? It isn’t out yet! It’s a teaser, and will be released in the next patch, so we have to play the waiting game again. Why Riot, why?!
So if you’re into cold blooded killers, or prefer using nature against your foes, League of Legends has everything you’re looking for when picking a champion to battle it out with. I’ll keep my eyes peeled for when Blackthorn Morgana hits the League store, and believe me, every last penny I own will go to Riot, because Riot apparently owns my soul.
Do you have any source that the Morgana skin will actually cost 1820?
I have checked on the LoL Wiki, and from the spoilers that have been leaked, she will be Legendary. Every Legendary skin costs 1820 (except the Suprise Party Fiddlesticks, which was a Legendary 975RP skin, as a gift to Riot’s summoners.), and has a completely different attack sequence and death style. If I am wrong, I do apologize, and will fix that as soon as I see otherwise.
