Seven Souls Online takes place on Akkadia, a planet that was once decimated by natural disasters. The remaining survivors sealed away five souls, each representing a certain element, Fire, Water, Earth, Wood and Metal. The sealing of these souls allowed Akkadia to restore it’s natural beauty, once again offering it’s inhabitants a world of fertile soil and growth. Sadly this didn’t last as the five souls soon became uncontrollable, returning Akkadia to it’s baron state once again. Seven Souls Online is a free to play MMORPG that requires you to download a moderately sized client.

Seven Souls Online features a unique, classless character progression system that sets it apart from other MMORPG games. You’re not restricted to choosing a class at character creation and then playing that for the duration, instead the abilities within the game are tied to weapon types. There are 3 available weapon types Broad Sword, Broad Axe and Spear. There are hundreds of variations of weapon designs and each weapon type can unlock an exciting list of powers and abilities. You can switch between weapons whenever you please, in effect, allowing you to mix up your class between battles.

Seven Souls Online is home to a action-based combat system that includes a number of exciting features. The most notable aspects of the combat are the Combo and Deathstrike mechanics. The Combo system works in a similar fashion to other Fantasy MMORPG games, you earn a combo by defeating monsters in quick succession, in order to keep the combo meter high, you must continually fight enemy players or monsters. The combo meter can go as high as 999, which directly influences your attack power, allowing skilled players to be able to devastate enemies with huge combo buffs. Another feature to the Combo system is the Combo Launch Skill’s, these are skills that consume your combo meter but can totally annihilate groups of enemies. The Deathstrike mechanic is an ability that is on a 60-second cooldown, but it can instantly kill any unnamed monster or enemy.
