Smite by Hi-rez studios Free-to-Play but not pay-to-win
Are you a huge fan of the common MMO pvp, staring over your characters shoulder as you slaughter other noobs? Are you a fan of the hugely popular MoBA genre? Regardless of whether it’s League of Legends, HoN, or DOTA? do you enjoy defending some towers? Then how good does a game that combines these sound? Because there is one. Hi-Rez studios is bringing you the gaming birth child of these two by producing a game named Smite.
Smite is basically the summation of everything good about WoW-pvp and MOBA’s, as it is a third-person (over the shoulder camera) MOBA that uses gods from all different mythologies as the characters. It will be a free to play, pay for extras, type system and is currently in closed beta.
Hi-Rez studios treats their beta unlike any other I have seen though, as everyone who enters a beta key is given three more to give to friends. Those keys each generate three fresh ones, and so on. This leads to uncharted growth of the beta, and means there will always be fresh players picking up the game.
The game isn’t too bad looking either, featuring pretty good graphics for what is going to be a free to play game. One of my favorite differences in this game is that the actual base defense towers, and the base itself, are living creatures that will attack players back. It’s pretty funny to watch your base kill enemy champions.

SMITE is an online battleground between mythical gods that is free-to-play and currently in Closed Beta. (http://www.smitegame.com)
Similar to DoTA gameplay but instead of being above the action you are IN the action. Close third-person camera instead of RTS view. Move with WASD instead of clicking on a map. Detailed graphics and visual FX. Action combat, dodging, and AIMING. Everything is a skill-shot.
