Sony Release PlanetSide 2 Video Footage And Boy Is It Awesome
Players eagerly awaiting the upcoming MMOFPS title from Sony Online Entertainment have been treated twice today with a release of the first gameplay video trailer for PlanetSide 2 as well as several screens detailing the MAX suit feature. The video shows the awesomeness of the aerial combat system in PlanetSide 2 treating players to explosive combat scenes as the air-borne troops fight for survival.
As if the video trailer wasn’t teasing us enough, Sony have also released screenshots for the heavy duty classes, The Mechanized Assault Exo-Suit, or MAX for short. The MAX suit is basically a ridiculously powerful mechanical robot that has devastating weapons at its disposal and some of the strongest armor available in the game. They also released some basic information on the mech class that includes the ability to edit specific modules within the MAX Suit allowing for players to specialize their weapons against specific targets or create more well-rounded units. The factions also play a role as they offer each MAX suit a faction specific ability. Are you psyched for PlanetSide 2?
