Soul Captor
Soul Captor is an upcoming, free to play MMORPG game that offers players wonderfully crafted cell-shaded graphics, a highly innovative class system and a unique approach to mount and pet features. At the beginning of time, the God of Creation looked down upon the chaotic beasts roaming the world he worked so hard to create and felt divine intervention was the only solution to a world that had not met the expectations of the great god. Using his divine abilities he created a continent filled with beautiful and exotic plants and animals, but something was missing. Feeling alone in the universe the God of Creation created humans, a unique race that had lived in harmony with the Mortal Realm for many centuries. The God of Creation grew bored over time and decided to create a world that wasn’t ruled by routine and diplomacy like the Mortal Realm, thus he filled a world with strange creatures and beings that populated the new continent of Asura. Both the worlds coincided without incident, leaving the God of Creation little choice but to move on to new worlds. He constructed magnificent cities in the clouds and created several gods assigned to keeping the peace between the two realms. However, the peace did not last long as the Mortal Realm was no longer protected by the divine powers of the God of Creation, giving the terrifying beasts from Asura a free pass to invade the Mortal Realm. You are a humanoid created by the remaining gods, sent down to the Mortal Realm as a divine oracle, possessing the power and wisdom of a god but the heart and soul of a human. Do you have the skills and abilities to restore peace to this once beautiful land.
Soul Captor Review
Soul Captor provides you with your own personal Anima, a unique companion that will guide and protect you on your journey to save the Mortal Realm. As you progress through the game, completing quests and defeating monsters, your Anima will gather Soul Power. All accumulated Soul Power is then added to the Soulpedia, a kind of personal soul storing bank if you will. Monster souls can then be used, and combined, to create a powerful variety of buffs and enchantments that can increase the stats and abilities of both your main character and your Anima companion. There are also a large number of rare monsters souls that are able to be summoned as a mount, as well as the buffs it can provide.
Soul Captor will be home to four unique classes at launch, Warrior, Priest, Shaman and Onmyoji. Each class follows a typical MMORPG archetype and gains levels and new abilities by earning experience points through questing and defeating monsters. There are currently two unannounced classes that may be featured at launch, or announced at a later date.
