Spirit Tales is arguably one of the cutest MMORPG games to ever grace the internet, featuring gorgeous graphics with anime and cartoons having a heavy effect on the artistic style. Spirit Tales includes a large majority of features that you would expect from other MMORPG games but wraps them up in a unique fantasy based setting that sets it apart from other MMORPG games.

There are 3 available tribes in Spirit Tales, Gold Kirin, Lunar Fox and Maned Dragon, each of which mix humanoid and animal to create a unique selection of race. Every race has 2 distinct classes to choose from, Fighter, Warrior, Archer, Assassin, Shaman and Sorcerer. Every class is unique in terms of available skills and abilities, both of which can be improved after leveling. The progression system works in a similar way to other fantasy MMORPG games, players must complete quests and defeat monsters to earn experience points. There’s also a wide selection available during character creation, giving players the option of selecting face type, tail, ears and more. I may be wrong here but I can’t recall any other MMORPG game that lets you choose both a tail and ear for your character, so it’s quite an exciting process.
Another unique feature exclusive to Spirit Tales is the transformation system. Each character has access to a unique transformation that not only changes their appearance, but also improves their stats and abilities. This gives players a great option when faced with tough opponents. Another aspect of the transformation system is the SP that enemy monsters use. SP works in a defensive way, with each monster having a certain amount that you must wear down before their defenses are broken. Breaking the SP of an enemy monster offers far better drop possibilities, rewarding players that are skilled enough to decimate their enemies.
Overall, Spirit Tales combines a highly detailed, unique graphical system with a large number of interesting features and mechanics. It’s a must-play title for any fan of the MMORPG genre as Spirit Tales is arguably one of the best cartoon inspired MMORPG games available.
