Square Enix Introduce A World Of Player Creativity In Gameglobe
Square Enix (Wakfu) have just announced their latest MMORPG project, Gameglobe. They’ll be distributing the game via the highly popular Bigpoint MMO portal, the same place you can find popular MMORPG games such as Battlestar Galactica and the recently released, The Mummy.
Gameglobe is said to bring a new level of creativity to the MMO world, through a unique, high-quality browser experience. Players can expect graphics to rival even the biggest client-based MMORPG games and innovative features never before seen in a MMO game. The main focal point of Gameglobe is to provide players with advanced tools to allow them to craft their very own custom adventures and then share them with the community. On paper this sounds like an amazing idea that could add an immense amount of depth to the game, offering players a custom-tailored experience each and every time they play.
Square Enix and Bigpoint have just issued a press release including some of the information for the game as well as some comments from the Game Director, Rune Vendler.
“We want Gameglobe to be a community where everyone can get involved in the fun: play new games every day, share your favorites, or flex your creative muscles with your own designs.”
Bigpoint’s Executive Produced, Jan-Michel Saaksmeier, also added:
“We’re very excited by the creativity unleashed through the collaboration between Bigpoint and Square Enix that allows us to bring an entirely new and innovative online gaming experience to players”, added Jan-Michel Saaksmeier, Executive Producer at Bigpoint. ”Gameglobe offers fun without limits and a vast selection of free-to-play adventures directly in your browser – and in full console quality HD graphics.”
Gameglobe is currently enjoying a successful closed beta period with an announcement regarding open beta expected soon. Players interested in participating in the beta for this ground-breaking MMO game should head on over to the official Gameglobe website.
