Supremacy 1914
Set during the infamous era of World War I Supremacy 1914
Supremacy 1914 Review
As with all MMORTS games, your army is only as strong as your economy. There’s a variety of resources that you will need to collect in order to build a powerful army and stronghold. Firstly you’ll need to make sure you can feed your foot soldiers by gathering various food resources such as grain and fish. If you march your army in to battle on an empty stomach, morale will be low and they won’t fight to their full potential. Other vital resources include Coal, Oil and Gasoline, vital for the more powerful units within your army such as Tanks and Battleships. Not all resources will be available straight away so you will need to use your best diplomatic skills to trade with other players or purchase valuable resources on the stock market.
One of the most exciting aspects to Supremacy 1914 is that the game supports both combat and diplomatic choices throughout the war. Maybe you’ve had a bad starting location and you’re surrounded by hostile forces, charging in with your tiny army of 10,000 soldiers won’t really do much good. Instead you may want to arrange protection or a cease fire if you provide them with certain resources. Then once you’re strong enough, you can try to take them out.
Supremacy 1914 may lack in the graphical department when compared to today’s popular MMORTS titles but the massive abundance of features, unique diplomatic mechanics and huge player base makes Supremacy 1914 a unique MMORTS experience that you won’t want to miss.
