Well, most of us quit or moved on from Final Fantasy XIV massively multi-player online role-playing game. Square Enix is throwing us a bone and giving a 10-day free trial from May 9 to May 20 to returning players. The ability to test out the heavily-criticized MMORPG’s new features is pretty cool.
The people who toughed it out for at least 90 days from 1/6/12 will get to qualify for the Square Enix’s “Legacy Campaign.” When version 2.0 launches your benefits start. Instead of $15 a month you will get a new reduced rate of a fixed $10 per month. Not bad. Plus the publisher is stating they will include your name in the game’s credits as a tester.
But wait there’s more, they announced that you get a special edition Chocobo mount as loyal as you have been. Awwww that’s sweet I wont have to rent them or find that whistle to transverse Eorzea.
