Travian Review
You begin your journey with a mere field, void of any buildings but full of potential. If you want to change your lowly field into a thriving Roman village, you’ll want to gather as many resources as possible. There are 4 resources available to harvest in Travian lumber, clay, iron and crops. You need to build plenty of farms, lumber-mills, and mines in order to have a steady flow of resources, each of these buildings can also be upgraded. Once you have a steady flow of resources you’ll want to investigate other available buildings such as a Warehouse, Granary and Cranny, to protect your valuable assets should your village get attacked by raiders.
One of the greatest features in Travian is the community, it’s huge. Over 5 million players have registered since the original launch and plenty of them are still playing. You can check your neighbors by viewing the world map. You can be surrounded with hundreds of other players, some of which may be hostile, while others may attempt to trade or form an alliance. The key to successfully surviving the intense PvP of Travian is to know your enemy, scout their villages, check their nearby allies and ensure your survival via diplomatic relations and trade.
Travian is a free to play titles and utilizes PHP, meaning it’s compatible with any modern internet browser. As well as being able to explore the wonderful world of Travian on your PC, you can also use the Java application to play away from home using your mobile device. This allows players to constantly upgrade their village, attack enemy villages or keep in touch with friends.
