Uprising Empires Review
As well as a host of fresh features for the strategy genre, players can expect much of the same from Uprising Empires. Similar to other games in the genre, Uprising Empires has a large focus on base management and construction, as well as resource harvesting and collection. There are five main resources available, Metal, Stone, Wood, Food and Gold, each offering possible improvements on various aspects of your base. Some resources are reserved for the construction and expansion of buildings, while others help to feed and train your troops.
One of the more appealing features in Uprising Empires is the ability to advance through various eras in the game, known as Ages. There are four Ages in total, each representing a huge technological leap forward. To advance through each Age players must first meet a certain number of predefined requirements, such as a certain building or population count. Each Age provides players with different challenges and obstacles to overcome, but they also provide far more powerful troops and more advanced buildings.
No MMORTS game is complete without the ability to trample your enemies and siege their cities, and Uprising Empires is home to an advanced system that offers players a challenging, yet rewarding system to overthrow their opponents. Firstly you must train your army, buying the troops and ensuring they have enough supplies to launch an attack on an unsuspecting castle. Secondly you must ensure you have siege weaponry available, such as a Trebuchet. Only then are you able to launch an attack on an enemies castle. If you’re army is strong enough to win the battle, a Colonizer must then be dispatched to convert the remaining civilians within the city, giving you full access and control of all the remaining buildings and resources.
