World Of Battles
Good: Easily the best thing about World of Battles is the combat system. It's not automated, it doesn't hide everything behind a UI, and it doesn't use 3D graphics. Instead it has great graphics, fully real-time combat, and a huge selection of units to use.
Bad: The only real negative aspect of World of Battles is the fact that the combat is all instanced/lobby based. Unlike more recent MMORTS titles such as End of Nations, which feature real-time territory and capture mechanics.
World of Battles is one of those MMO titles that demands attention. If you’re a regular in the MMO world you’ve no doubt seen hundreds of browser-based MMORTS titles that deliver the same features and mechanics, just using different skins. Well not World of Battles. World of Battles is a fully fledged, client-based MMORTS game that offers players gloriously rendered 3D graphics, intense combat animations and a huge variety of tactical based mechanics.

You get to choose which race you want to lead to victory from quite an impressive selection including Amazons, Barbarians, Beast Folk, Dwarves, Dark elves, Knights, Orcs and the Undead. Your choice is vital as it will have a large impact on your gaming experience in the World of Battles. Every race has dozens of uniquely designed units, all featuring highly detailed character and combat animations. Choose your units carefully as you create an army to oppose any enemy force. Will you choose to balance your forces and rely on your wit to reach victory? Or will you choose to recruit dozens of the same unit and attempt brute force tactics? The choice is up to you.
A new update was also recently introduced that added the highly anticipated clan system. Similar to other MMO titles, clans work as a unit of players that are striving to achieve the same goal. Joining a clan, or forming your own, will allow you to take part in epic battles across a huge world map as dozens of clans fight for control of various territories and locations.
If you’re a hardcore MMORTS fan, or a new player looking to get your feet wet, World of Battles is a highly innovative title that is sure to offer challenges to players of all skill levels and backgrounds.
