World Of Tanks Invades Korea Today
The record breaking World of Tanks MMO, which recently launched a highly successful TV advertisement campaign in the UK, is now set to invade Korea. Today Wargaming announced that the companies number one MMO will enter the Korean gaming market which has been launched to coincide with the recently announced 8.2 update that introduces new American and British tanks.
The World of Tanks Supertest, the name given to the Korean testing phase, has been ongoing from December 3rd to December 20th, in which time over 60,000 Korean players joined and provided feedback. The feedback was obviously great as Wargaming haven’t wasted any time pushing into the Korean market.
“It’s a great day for the whole team. World of Tanks has been a huge success globally, and the Supertest in Korea has shown that the game has the brightest prospects in the market,” said Chankuk Park, General Manager, Korea. “I’m sure that World of Tanks will be able to gain more and more gamer attention in Korea, thanks to the game’s profoundness both strategically and gameplay-wise.”
