World of Warplanes Flies Into Closed Beta
The highly anticipated MMO title from the developers of World of Tanks, World of Warplanes, has just begun its first bombing run of closed beta. Wargaming.net have been regularly releasing videos and information regarding their upcoming dog-fighter MMO title, and the latest announcement includes a massive amount of content that will be added to the beta.
The closed beta now features all four of the plane types, Fighter, Ground-Attack, Heavy Fighters and Combat Carriers, featuring life-like models and designs from famous planes throughout history. Players can expect over 50 unique planes to pilot from some of the strongest aerial presences in aviation history, such as Germany, USSR and the USA. Along with the introduction of a large number planes, beta players will be able to enjoy four new maps and a variety of new game modes.
For those of us not lucky enough to get into the World of Warplanes closed beta event, Wargaming.net have released a jazzy video demonstrating some of finest aspects to the World War II aerial combat title.
